Slime mold Andi, singing

As slime molds move around, they are ever so slowly singing. For your enjoyment and my amusement, I have again captured a fragment of the song of Andi and transcoded it to a format we can hear. The footage of Andi singing reminds me of solar flares, only not directed outwards, but towards inner space. Maybe there are planets in inner space too, planets such as Solaris, author Stanislav Lem’s imaginary world that is also a giant slime mold.

In the novel Solaris, people interact with this living planet but never communicate. Failing to achieve communication and feeling threatened by the powerful weirdness of this world, the crew in orbit plans to destroy Solaris. I do not want to destroy slime mold Andi, as I respect and enjoy the alien beauty of others. Life is much better that way.
